Common clinical symptoms of bladder cancer

Common clinical symptoms of bladder cancer

Bladder cancer is a malignant tumor that seriously harms the health of patients. Bladder cancer treatment must be carried out in a timely manner to reduce the harm of bladder cancer to patients. What are the common symptoms of bladder cancer? The following is a list of common symptoms of bladder cancer.

Common bladder cancer symptoms include:

1. Hematuria is the most common symptom of bladder cancer. 85% of patients may experience recurrent painless intermittent macroscopic hematuria. The amount of bleeding may be more or less, and in severe cases, there may be blood clots. 100% of patients will experience hematuria sooner or later during the course of bladder cancer. About 68% of macroscopic hematuria is whole-course hematuria, 28% is terminal hematuria, and 4% is initial hematuria.

2. Bladder irritation is also a common symptom of bladder cancer. The infiltration of the tumor itself, ulceration of cancerous tissue, necrosis, infection and blood clots can all become irritants that cause the bladder muscles to contract and produce the urge to urinate; symptoms of bladder cancer include frequent urination (8%), urgent urination (8%), painful urination (5%) and persistent urge to urinate, persistent distending pain in the waist, and urinary incontinence when the tumor invades the sphincter. For patients with bladder irritation who lack evidence of infection, active and comprehensive examination measures should be taken to ensure early diagnosis. Those who have bladder irritation symptoms are generally a sign of poor prognosis.

3. Difficulty urinating. About 7% of cases of bladder cancer may suffer from difficulty urinating, or even urinary retention, due to the shedding of cancerous tissue or the tumor itself or blood clots blocking the internal opening of the bladder.

The above is an introduction to the common symptoms of bladder cancer. I hope it will be helpful to everyone. Once the symptoms of bladder cancer appear, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid missing the best time for treatment.
