How to make canned corn kernels

1. Sweet corn kernels

Ingredients: corn kernels, ham, carrot, cucumber, sugar, salt, chicken essence

Break the can of corn kernels and pour out the kernels.

②Dice the ham, carrot and cucumber. Only the skin of the cucumber is needed, the core of the cucumber is too watery

③When stir-frying, fry the diced carrots first, or you can blanch them in water first.

Pour in corn kernels, diced ham, sugar and salt. You can add more sugar as this dish is mainly sweet. Add the diced cucumber when the dish is almost ready. Do not stir-fry the diced cucumber for too long.

2. Sweet corn cakes

Materials

③Canned sweet corn kernels, drained.

Beat the eggs and add the egg liquid.

⑤Add sweet corn kernels and a little sugar to season and stir well.

Grease the pan with a layer of oil, pour in the batter, and turn the pan over low heat. Before the batter is completely solidified, quickly rotate the pan to make it into a round pancake.

⑧When the surface is slightly solidified, turn it over and fry until both sides are golden brown.

Sweet corn is suitable for canning. Sweet corn varieties have a recessive gene that prevents some of the sugar from being converted into starch during the growth and maturation process, so the corn remains sweet after maturity.

Corn cobs are classified by size, and the corn kernels are cut from the cobs with a knife. They are then washed, screened, ventilated and dried, then put into boxes, and salt solution and sugar are added. Finally, they are sterilized to obtain the product.
