The duodenum is a part of the human body. If people do not pay attention to their physical health in their lives, symptoms of duodenum disease may also occur. So be sure to protect every part of your body. Diet is very important for the body, and the duodenum is a part of the human intestine. The digestion of food will affect the intestines, but where is the duodenum? The duodenum is the passage between the stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and jejunum, and is divided into four parts. Each department has a unique adjacency relationship. The duodenum is the passage between the stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and jejunum, and is divided into four parts. Each department has a unique adjacency relationship. 1. Superior part: It is characterized by a shallow location, a large cavity and thin walls, and is clamped front and back by the bile duct system in a "7" shape. Therefore, the duodenum is adjacent to the gallbladder in front; directly adjacent to the common bile duct, gastroduodenal artery and portal vein in the back; to the cystic duct, caudate lobe of the liver and omental foramen above; and adjacent to the head of the pancreas below. 2. Descending part: It is the deepest part, with the posterior and medial wall containing the longitudinal fold of duodenum, major duodenal papilla, and the openings of the bile and pancreatic ducts. It is the part that communicates with the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. In front is the transverse colon and its mesentery; behind is the renal hilum; inside is the pancreatic head and common bile duct, between which are the superior and inferior pancreaticoduodenal vessels; outside is the ascending colon. 3. Horizontal part: It is characterized by being clamped by the superior mesenteric artery and the abdominal aorta at an acute "A" shape angle. It is also the longest section of the duodenum. That is, the superior mesenteric artery is in front, the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava are in the back, and the ureter is on the right; there are the left renal vein, pancreatic head and pancreatic neck above; and the right mesenteric sinus is below. 4. Ascending part: It connects with the jejunum and forms the duodenal flexure. It is characterized by the suspension of the duodenal ligament, which is the landmark for determining the beginning of the jejunum. It is also the shortest section, located on the left side of the second lumbar vertebra. |
