Hemangioma sclerosing agent

Hemangioma sclerosing agent

Blood flows in people's blood vessels, but if people don't pay attention to their daily life and eating habits, it is very likely to cause tumors. Hemangioma is a type of tumor. It is a benign tumor. Although it is not fatal, it will become more and more serious if it is not treated in time. So, is it useful to use sclerosing agents for hemangiomas?

How long does it take to cure the hardener?

1 First, the clinical evaluation of sclerotherapy for hemangioma is mixed. Many people believe that the side effects of sclerotherapy injection are too great, such as pain, nodules, necrosis, secondary scars, skin atrophy, etc. However, due to its simple operation and low equipment requirements, it is still very commonly used in clinical practice. Surgery can also be used during treatment. No matter what kind of treatment method is used, it must be carried out after examination and under the guidance of a doctor.

2 Secondly, current sclerotherapy is mostly part of comprehensive treatment, such as reducing the size of hemangiomas before surgery or being used for residual lesions after surgery and certain areas that are not suitable for resection and repair. In addition, it can also be used alone for some slowly progressing lesions. This therapy is mainly suitable for cavernous hemangiomas and capillary hemangiomas, and can be used as the main or auxiliary therapy for cavernous hemangiomas. The efficacy is very poor for simple, winding and large-area hemangiomas, because the sclerosing agent is not easy to remain in the lesion of congenital arteriovenous fistula with large blood flow, so the treatment effect is also poor.

3Finally, there are many types of hardeners, such as hot water, hypertonic saline, 5% sodium morrhuate, ethanol, alum, and even bleomycin. Ethanol is widely used in clinical practice because of its fast and certain effects, shorter pain duration and long-lasting therapeutic effects. The mechanism of sclerotherapy by injection is to cause an inflammatory response in the intima. After the intima is destroyed, thrombosis forms in the lumen and secondary fibrosis occurs. Multiple injections have a stronger effect and better results.

Note:

After suffering from hemangioma, you should pay attention to diet conditioning in your daily life, especially eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and eat more nutritious foods, such as: rice, wheat, millet, soybeans, etc. Ducks, turtles, tortoises, fish, etc.
