B-ultrasound can not only be used to check the physical health of the fetus in the pregnant woman's belly, but is also widely used in other fields. When there is a problem with a person's gastrointestinal organs, B-ultrasound, a medical detection technology, can also be used. The rectum is the lowest part of the intestine in the human digestive system. If there is a problem with it, it will affect a person's normal bowel movements. So what are the steps to use B-ultrasound to detect rectal diseases? What should I do before rectal ultrasound examination? Before the examination, understand the patient's general condition, medical history, previous relevant medical history, and examination data, explain the purpose of the examination to the patient, eliminate the patient's nervousness, and obtain the patient's cooperation; 2 hours before the examination, the patient should have a warm water enema 1 to 2 times to clear the feces in the rectum and attached to the intestinal wall as much as possible to facilitate the examination. If the conditions for enema are difficult to achieve, the patient should be advised to empty the feces in the rectum as much as possible. In addition, the bladder should be properly filled before the examination, the intrarectal ultrasound probe should be protected with a disposable thin latex cover, and coupling agent should be applied between the latex cover and the probe to expel the air between the latex cover and the probe. How to do rectal B-ultrasound examination After the patient takes a suitable position, the buttocks and anus are exposed. The examiner wears gloves and performs digital anal examination first to gain a preliminary understanding of the location and extent of the lesion. The intrarectal ultrasound probe coated with coupling agent is then inserted into the anus. The patient is advised to breathe through his mouth and relax his anus. The probe is tilted slightly forward, tilted backward after passing through the anal canal, and tilted forward again after reaching the ampulla of the rectum. If a dual-plane probe is used, the linear array mode and convex array mode should be used alternately according to the examination needs. The top of the probe is a rotatable transducer that can rotate 360 degrees to perform multi-angle detection of the rectal wall. The detection depth is usually greater than 5 cm, and the sampling time is about 60 seconds. A series of closely connected two-dimensional images are obtained and three-dimensional reconstruction is performed. The three-dimensional reconstructed images can be freely rotated, decomposed, and cut to observe the lesions from different angles to obtain more possible information. During the rectal B-ultrasound examination, it is recommended that everyone must adjust their mentality and face the examination method correctly. In addition, it is also recommended that everyone should not feel anxious or nervous, because this examination method can effectively detect lesions in the rectum. I believe everyone knows that the incidence of rectal lesions is very high, so it is recommended that everyone pay attention to it and get checked in time. |
