The function of medium frequency electrotherapy instrument

Medium frequency electrotherapy is a physical therapy method with therapeutic effects. It promotes blood circulation in the human body through the stimulation of medium frequency electric current and has a very significant effect on the treatment of cervical diseases. Medium frequency electrotherapy devices have become increasingly popular in recent years. This is mainly because they can not only be used to treat diseases, but also for health care, which is of great help to office workers. So, what is the role of medium frequency electrotherapy device?

The medium frequency physiotherapy device is effective. The therapeutic effect is: the modulated medium frequency current contains 1~150Hz low frequency current and 2~8KHz medium frequency current. The low frequency current has different frequencies and waveforms (sine wave, square wave, triangle wave, trapezoidal wave, differential wave, etc.), different modulation methods (continuous, intermittent, discontinuous, modulated), different modulation amplitudes (0%~100%), and can be divided into symmetrical and asymmetrical according to the symmetry of the waveform.

The dynamic changes of electric current are large, so the modulated medium frequency current has the respective characteristics and therapeutic effects of low-frequency and medium-frequency currents. It has a deeper effect and does not produce electrolytic stimulation. It is easy for the human body to accept but not easy to adapt. Its main therapeutic effects are: analgesia; promoting local tissue blood circulation and lymphatic return; causing skeletal muscle contraction, which can exercise muscles and prevent muscle atrophy; increasing smooth muscle tension; acting on ganglia and nerve segments to produce reflex effects and regulate autonomic nervous function.

Currently, the commonly used computer medium frequency therapeutic device uses microcomputer and numerical control technology, and stores multiple multi-step program prescriptions. The medium frequency therapeutic device pictures (2 pictures) show that each current prescription has different modulation and combination. The treatment adopts silicon conductive rubber electrode, which is simple and safe to operate. Different current prescriptions can be selected according to the patient's condition, and the two electrodes can be placed opposite or juxtaposed to the treatment site. The intensity of the therapeutic current is determined by the patient's tolerance, generally 0.1~0.3mA/c㎡. When the current is turned on, there is a tremor, twitching or muscle contraction under the electrode, which is easy to tolerate. Generally, each prescription treatment lasts 15 to 20 minutes, once a day, and 7 to 15 minutes is a course of treatment (with a 1-day break between each course of treatment). As there is no consensus on which is better, low frequency or medium frequency, it is recommended to purchase an instrument that has both low frequency and medium frequency for comprehensive treatment. Of course, an instrument with automatic switching function is better.

Now that we know that the medium frequency therapy device is effective, the next question I guess everyone will ask is what kind of patients it is suitable for. The medium frequency therapy device is mainly suitable for people with discomfort in some parts of the body. For example, people with lumbar disease and spinal disease can use this therapy. In addition, people with periarthritis of the shoulder, arthritis, neuralgia, etc. can also use this therapy. Of course, there are some patients who are not suitable for using this instrument, such as people with malignant tumors, people with acute inflammation, etc., and pregnant women. As we all know, many of the instruments and drugs we use in our daily lives emphasize that they are prohibited for pregnant women. I hope this article is helpful to you.
