Which department should I go to for rheumatoid arthritis

Joint diseases account for a very large proportion in modern life. Almost most people will suffer from joint diseases, which brings great troubles to the patient's body and life. Because arthritis is very painful and almost difficult to treat, it will cause long-term troubles to patients. Rheumatoid arthritis requires persistent treatment. Let’s take a look at which department to go to for rheumatoid arthritis.

You can go to the rheumatology and immunology department of a regular hospital for examination. Perform four rheumatism tests and provide targeted treatment after a clear diagnosis.

1. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Use a hyperbaric oxygen pressurized oxygen chamber, inhale oxygen through a mask for 30 minutes (0.25 mPa), and inhale air for 10 minutes. Each treatment lasts 2.5 hours, once a day, and 10-15 times constitute a course of treatment. Hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatment usually has no adverse reactions, but its efficacy is poor for patients with rheumatoid arthritis who have myalgia, difficulty sweating, long-term illness, and weak body.

2. Medium wave electrotherapy.

Medium frequency pulse electrotherapy can use interference current and sinusoidal modulation medium frequency current. There are many methods of interferential current therapy, including fixation method, activity method, suction activity method and pain point blocking. Each treatment lasts 10-20 or 30 minutes, and 15-20 times constitutes a course of treatment. During treatment, you should feel a comfortable warmth. Do not carry any metal objects or come into contact with other conductors, and do not move your body position. If you experience unbearable overheating or local burning pain, you should inform your doctor immediately to adjust or stop treatment to avoid burns.

3. Infrared therapy.

Infrared therapy lasts 15-30 minutes each time, 1-2 times a day, and 15-20 times constitutes a course of treatment. If there is no infrared lamp, a 100-200 watt bulb can be used instead, or a spectrum therapy device can be used for treatment. Do not move your body position or touch the lamp during infrared treatment. If you feel overheated, tell your doctor immediately to adjust the distance to avoid burns. Cover your eyes with moistened gauze to prevent irritation and inflammation. If dizziness, fatigue and insomnia occur during treatment, treatment should be stopped.

4. Exercise therapy.

Physical therapy is medical sports. For arthritis, especially chronic rheumatoid arthritis, it mainly involves systemic and joint function training, active or passive exercise, and joint movement to increase joint mobility, restore and maintain joint function, prevent and improve muscles around joints, boost spirits, find joy in sorrow, enhance cardiopulmonary function and endurance, and increase physical strength and disease resistance.
