Explain the common symptoms of lung cancer

As we all know, the mortality rate of lung cancer is very high now. We should actively prevent lung cancer. So do you know what are the common symptoms of lung cancer? Regarding this question, let our experts explain to you what are the common symptoms of lung cancer.

What are the common symptoms of lung cancer? The following is an introduction to the common symptoms of lung cancer:

A small number of lung cancer patients may experience hyponatremia in the early stages, with clinical manifestations such as nausea, vomiting, fatigue, etc. It is more common in small cell lung cancer and is a manifestation of paraneoplastic syndrome caused by an abnormal increase in the secretion of antidiuretic hormone.

In 1938, Wilker et al. first discovered that hyponatremia was related to lung cancer. In 1957, Schwartz et al. again discovered that patients with bronchial lung cancer had hyponatremia and that the kidneys excreted a large amount of sodium. They believed that this was caused by an abnormal increase in the secretion of antidiuretic hormone and named it SIADH.

What are the common symptoms of lung cancer? So far, more than 60 diseases associated with SIADH have been found, but most of them are malignant tumors, with lung cancer being the most common, of which small cell lung cancer accounts for 90%.

The best treatment for SIADH is to actively diagnose the cause and then treat the primary disease. Tumors combined with SIADH can restore blood sodium to normal with tumor resection and the effectiveness of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Some scholars have reported that patients with small cell lung cancer combined with SIADH have no SIADH symptoms during the tumor remission period after chemotherapy without restricting water intake.

The main purpose of SIADH treatment is to correct hyponatremia, and the treatment is divided into two stages: "urgent correction of hyponatremia" and "correction of chronic hyponatremia". Those with blood sodium <120mmol/L and central nervous system symptoms should be treated immediately. 3%~5% sodium chloride solution can be infused within 6 hours to increase blood sodium by 10mmol/L to relieve symptoms.

I believe that after reading the above explanation, you will have a certain understanding of the common symptoms of lung cancer! I hope the above explanation can help you.
