Methods of syndrome differentiation and treatment for lung cancer patients with deficiency of lung and spleen qi

Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, that is, formulating treatment methods based on the symptoms of the disease. There is a lung and spleen deficiency type in the syndrome differentiation of lung cancer, and its symptoms and treatment methods are as follows.

The main symptoms of lung cancer patients with deficiency of lung and spleen qi are long-term cough with thin sputum, chest tightness and shortness of breath, abdominal distension, poor appetite, nausea and vomiting, loose stools or constipation, fatigue, weakness in the limbs, laziness and low speech, deep and thin or wet pulse, pale tongue with thin coating and teeth marks on the edges.

This symptom often occurs during chemotherapy and radiotherapy for lung cancer patients, or when advanced patients have liver metastasis or other complications of lung cancer. Generally, it will be alleviated and disappear with the end of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but if the related symptoms are caused by abdominal metastasis, it is difficult to control, so active treatment should be carried out.

Treatment method: Focus on nourishing the lungs and spleen, pay attention to resolving phlegm and turbidity, promoting lung function and relieving cough, harmonizing the stomach and relieving adverse reactions, and expelling water and fluid.
