Preoperative preparation for surgical treatment of gastric cancer includes: (1) Correct anemia, ascites and hypoproteinemia. (2) Patients with incomplete pyloric obstruction should fast or eat only liquid food, and undergo gastric lavage for 3 to 5 days. (3) Routine intestinal cleansing preparation should be performed before surgery. (4) One day before surgery, the upper abdomen and surrounding skin should be cleaned and prepared as usual. (5) A nasogastric tube was placed on the morning of surgery. (6) Metronidazole 0.5 g and antibiotics were administered intravenously on the morning of the operation. |
