What are the methods of TCM to diagnose colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer refers to malignant lesions of the colorectal mucosal epithelium caused by a variety of carcinogenic factors such as the environment or genetics. It has a poor prognosis and a high mortality rate. It is one of the common malignant tumors in my country. So what are the methods of TCM to diagnose colorectal cancer? I believe many friends do not know. Let's learn more about it together.

Colorectal cancer is diagnosed in TCM as "intestinal cysts", "accumulation", "visceral poison", "locked anus hemorrhoids" and other categories. For visceral poison, the anus is swollen and hard, painful and watery. For locked anus hemorrhoids, the anus is locked like bamboo joints inside and outside, shaped like a sea snake, with tenesmus, thin and flat stools, and sometimes smelly water. For intestinal cysts, cold air stays outside the intestines and fights with the defensive qi, so the qi cannot be nourished, and the inherent surplus is a habit, and the evil qi inside arises, and the flesh grows, and when it first grows, it is as big as a chicken egg. For accumulation... the stomach and intestines are nasty, and nasty qi stays there, and accumulation causes injury.

Most colorectal cancers have symptoms, such as increased bowel movements, and in severe cases, complete bowel movement, abdominal swelling, and abdominal pain. In the late stage, the tumor may rupture and cause blood or mucus in the stool. Obstruction of the proximal intestinal tract may form ulcers or perforations. Some patients may feel a mass in the abdomen at the site of the tumor. When the tumor invades the rectum, there may be tenesmus, blood in the stool, and thin stools that are like flat ribbons or pencils. The main manifestations of right-sided colon cancer are indigestion, loss of appetite, or alternating abdominal distension or abdominal pain. The tumor is prone to ulceration, bleeding and secondary infection, as well as fever, constipation, and general fatigue, which are quite serious.
