Dosage of ambroxol for nebulization

Dosage of ambroxol for nebulization

Many people may not be clear about the pharmacological effects of ambroxol on the human body. Ambroxol specifically refers to a chemical drug that is frequently used in clinical medicine to relieve cough and phlegm. Nebulizer treatment has been a very popular treatment method in recent years because it has obvious effects in relieving pharyngitis and rhinitis. When using ambroxol for nebulization treatment, what is the specific dosage?

First of all, we need to clarify the main function of ambroxol. Ambroxol is available in oral solution and injection. Its main function is to relieve cough and reduce phlegm. It is also a very commonly used cough and phlegm drug in clinical work. It is widely used for cough with phlegm or bronchitis and pneumonia.

In general, ambroxol oral solution needs to be taken orally and cannot be administered through other means. Ambroxol injection generally requires intravenous infusion and cannot be treated through other means. Moreover, ambroxol does not have a nebulizer inhalation treatment, so strictly speaking according to the instructions, ambroxol cannot be used for nebulizer inhalation treatment.

In clinical practice, ambroxol hydrochloride injection is also used for nebulization treatment, and the drug used is ambroxol hydrochloride injection. This drug needs to be prepared with saline solution before it can be used for nebulization. Generally speaking, one nebulizer is used at a time, ambroxol hydrochloride injection, but about 15 ml of normal saline solution needs to be added.

The atomization time is set to fifteen to twenty minutes. If raw salt water is not added, it is impossible to achieve continuous atomization for more than fifteen minutes. Nebulizer treatment must be carried out in a professional place based on the combination of different symptoms and the doctor's advice.
