At present, domestically produced dishwashing liquids must comply with the national mandatory standard GB9985-2000 "Detergents for Hand-washing Dishwashing", which requires the pH value to be between 4.0 and 10.5.

Because liquids above pH 7 are alkaline and those below pH 7 are acidic, the pH value of dishwashing liquid is between 4.0 and 10.5, so there can be both acidic and alkaline dishwashing liquids.

Dishwashing liquid is a neutral surfactant. Neither acidic nor alkaline. Its decontamination and disinfection capabilities have nothing to do with its acidity or alkalinity, but are achieved by changing the surface activity of water. For example, in electronic product factories, non-acidic and alkaline detergents are needed to wash work clothes, because antistatic clothing is not acid-resistant, and alkaline ion pollution is strictly prohibited for semiconductor products. Therefore, washing powder (alkaline) or acid cannot be used to wash work clothes. Neutral detergent must be used to meet the requirements.

The only alkaline detergents are soap, washing powder and soap powder.

Other civilian detergents such as shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid are all neutral. Acidic detergents like toilet cleaners are used to remove stains such as scale and rust. Alkaline detergents are used for laundry soaps, washing powders, etc. Hand soaps are generally neutral. Alkaline detergents like Diao brand laundry soap and Wujie powder are very effective in removing stubborn stains such as oil stains, rust stains, etc. They can also deodorize and sterilize when placed in the refrigerator.

Although soap and other things are alkaline, they are not very alkaline... For example, laundry detergent, shampoo, shower gel, and common detergents are basically alkaline, and conditioner is acidic. But for this neutral detergent, you don't have to worry about PH=7, its PH can be between 6 and 8. If you can't get it dirty, it is recommended to wear latex gloves.
