Is the cure rate of hematolymphoma high?

Is the cure rate of blood lymphoma high? With the continuous progress of society, the continuous adjustment of production structure and dietary structure, people pay more attention to their health. Lymphoma has always been a disease that people pay more attention to. So what is the cure rate of this disease? Let us take a closer look.

In the past, more than 90% of lymphoma patients died within one year, but this malignant tumor has also made the greatest progress in treatment. After nearly half a century of research, most malignant lymphomas are now expected to be cured. Therefore, malignant lymphoma is not an incurable disease. This is mainly due to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which are the main measures for treating malignant lymphoma today and have achieved significant results. In particular, the treatment of Hodgkin's disease has made significant progress, and the overall 10-year survival rate has increased to more than 50%, among which the cure rate of lymphoma can reach the vast majority. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma often spreads throughout the body. For some patients, complete cure is possible. For other patients, treatment can prolong life and improve symptoms for several years. The possibility of cure or long-term survival depends on the stage of lymphoma and the site of spread. Of course, making the decision to use chemotherapy is difficult for both patients and doctors. Although chemotherapy can greatly increase the patient's chance of cure, its side effects are significant. Chemotherapy drugs can cause temporary or lasting infertility, increase the risk of infection and cause hair loss, but as long as they are properly combined with Chinese medicine, their toxic side effects can be reduced to a minimum, and some patients can gain more survival time after radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Therefore, for patients with malignant lymphoma, this treatment method is still the best choice.

Most Hodgkin's disease can be cured with radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or both. Radiation therapy alone has a high cure rate of more than 90 percent for stage I or II lymphoma. Radiation therapy alone is sometimes given if the patient has no symptoms. Sixty-five to seventy-five percent of patients are cured. Adding chemotherapy increases the chance of cure to 75 to 80 percent. If the patient has symptoms, chemotherapy or radiation therapy should be given. The cure rate for these patients is between 70 and 80 percent. Combination chemotherapy is usually used for stage IV patients. Each chemotherapy cycle lasts 1 month, and the total course of treatment is 6 months or more. Other combination chemotherapy regimens are available. Even for patients at this advanced stage, more than 50 percent of patients can be cured.

However, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can cause relatively serious damage to the patient's body. In order to prevent the patient's body from further weakening and to ensure the quality of life, many patients have now accepted the auxiliary methods of traditional Chinese medicine. During the treatment, they take Chinese herbal medicines such as Cordyceps sinensis and Dendrobium officinale that can enhance the body's resistance; or take the modern product of traditional Chinese medicine ginsenoside Rh2 (GS-Rh2, the best dosage is 12 to 18%) to reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, inhibit the progression of the disease, and improve the prognosis.

Through the detailed description of the article, we also know that there are many diseases that still need surgical treatment, and lymphoma is one of these diseases. Friends with lymphoma should also pay attention to their diet. It is better not to eat many bad stimulating foods, which are not conducive to the recovery of the disease.
