How to prevent moles from turning into melanoma

How to prevent moles from turning into melanoma

Each of us will have moles of different sizes on our bodies. In fact, moles can be a precursor to melanoma. Malignant melanoma is highly malignant, develops rapidly, and has a very high mortality rate. In my country, the incidence of malignant melanoma is not high because patients do not pay enough attention to prevention and detection, resulting in most patients being diagnosed in the late stage and having a poor prognosis.

1. Pigmented nevus growing in areas prone to friction should be biopsied for pathological examination and removed as soon as possible. Each specimen removed must be sent for pathological examination. If there is malignant transformation, it should be completely removed and skin grafting should be performed.

2. It is not advisable to stimulate moles with corrosive drugs or complete freezing, because moles often become malignant due to traumatic stimulation, leading to the formation of melanoma.

3. Pay attention to diet, leisure and other aspects in life. You can do more exercise to improve your physical fitness.

4. Information on prevention and vigilance against malignant transformation of moles:

(1) The mole increases in size and its pigment becomes darker or lighter.

(2) The mole expands radially to the surrounding area.

(3) The mole causes unexplained pain or discomfort, and there is a small amount of exudate on the surface.

(4) The lymph nodes in the mole area are enlarged and faintly blue-black in color can be seen.

(5) The patient has blue-black urine.

How to prevent moles from becoming melanoma? Through the above detailed introduction, I hope it can provide some help to everyone. No matter what kind of disease it is, we must follow the "three early" principle, that is, "early prevention, early diagnosis, and early treatment", and the same is true for melanoma. Once the "signs" of melanoma are found, we must go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.
