With the continuous development of technology in the medical field, the popularization of medical knowledge has become an urgent matter. In life, most people know very little about common medical knowledge, so they regret it after getting sick, but it is too late, which makes people regret it. Later, I will lead everyone to learn the basic knowledge of testicular cancer. Testicular tumor is one of the common tumors in urology. It is almost always malignant, and there are three peaks in the age of onset: yolk sac tumor (infantile embryonal tumor) is the most common in infancy; various types of testicular tumors can be seen between the ages of 20 and 40, but seminoma is still the most common, and seminoma is the main tumor after the age of 70. Its cause is still unclear, and it is currently believed that its onset is related to both genetic and acquired factors. Among them, it is most closely related to cryptorchidism. The chance of cryptorchidism developing tumors is 10 to 14 times greater than that of normal people. Cryptorchidism in the abdominal cavity is higher than that in the groin. Testicular fixation does not reduce the incidence of malignant changes, but it can make tumors easier to detect. Testicular cancer occurs in testicular tissue, has a complex pathological origin, and is relatively rare clinically, accounting for about 1% of all male malignant tumors. The main incidence population is young men in their fertility peak, so it has a relatively large impact on society. However, the cure rate of testicular cancer is very high, with a survival rate of 95% or even higher. Therefore, in the field of oncology, testicular cancer is a very important malignant tumor. Testicular cancer is currently the malignant solid tumor with the highest clinical cure rate. Even for patients with testicular cancer that has metastasized, there is a high chance of clinical cure through surgery and combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Therefore, it is important to emphasize that the goal of testicular cancer treatment is to achieve cure, not to alleviate or prolong survival time. Testicular cancer is common in men aged 15-35 years. The incidence varies greatly around the world, with higher rates seen in many European countries and lower rates in the Far East, including China. The incidence is 6 per 100,000 men per year, but the incidence is increasing year by year. Cryptorchidism and viral infections are risk factors for testicular cancer. |
