In today's society, various cancers are increasing. I wonder if you have heard of tongue cancer. Tongue cancer is one of the most common oral cancers, but not many people pay attention to it. Some people are diagnosed with advanced tongue cancer. Today we will learn about tongue cancer, what we should pay attention to in our daily life if we find that we have advanced tongue cancer, and what medicines we should take for advanced tongue cancer. Cancer often presents with ulcers and infiltration, accompanied by spontaneous pain and varying degrees of tongue movement disorders. In the late stage of tongue cancer, it can directly exceed the midline or invade the floor of the mouth, as well as infiltrate the lingual periosteum, bone plate or bone of the mandible. Backward, it can extend to the root of the tongue or the anterior pharyngeal pillar and the lateral wall of the pharynx. At this time, the movement of the tongue can be severely restricted and fixed, and the saliva increases and overflows, and it cannot be controlled. Eating, swallowing, and speaking are all difficult. The pain is severe and can be reflected to half of the head. The lymph node metastasis rate of tongue cancer is relatively high, usually around 40%. The most common metastatic site is the deep cervical lymph node group. In the late stage of tongue cancer, lung metastasis or distant metastasis to other parts may occur. If tongue cancer is discovered in the early stages, it can be treated with surgery. If it is in the late stages, Chinese herbal medicine can be used to treat it and relieve pain. Late stage symptoms: Swollen tongue filling the mouth or with obvious ulcers, easy to bleed, inability to retract or stretch the tongue, difficulty opening the mouth and eating, foul breath, lumps on the neck and under the jaw, or swelling through the tongue and cheeks, soup or fluid leaking out, emaciation, shortness of breath and fatigue, mental fatigue, pale tongue with greasy coating, and thin, rapid and stringy pulse.
