Colon cancer can be detected by several methods, including X-ray examination, barium meal examination of the entire digestive tract and barium enema examination. The overall shape of the colon can be observed, whether there are multiple polyps and multiple cancer foci, and provide a basis for surgical treatment of patients with colon cancer. The initial signs of the disease may be intestinal wall stiffness and mucosal destruction, followed by constant filling defects and intestinal stenosis. Double contrast examination of air-barium is more effective. In addition, there are some other ways to accurately detect colon cancer: 1. Endoscopic examination: For patients with blood in stool or changes in bowel habits, but no abnormalities found in rectal examination, colon cancer should be routinely examined by fiber colonoscopy. It can not only detect various types of colon lesions, but also take tissue biopsy to confirm the diagnosis, so as to avoid missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis. 2. Serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) test: It has no specificity for detecting and diagnosing colon cancer. Increased values are often related to tumor growth. They can return to normal values after complete resection of the colon tumor. They can increase several weeks before recurrence. Therefore, it is helpful in estimating prognosis, monitoring efficacy and recurrence, and is of great significance for the examination of colon cancer. 3. B-ultrasound scan, CT or MRI examination: None of them can directly diagnose colon cancer, but they are valuable in determining the location, size, relationship with surrounding tissues, lymph node and liver metastasis of the tumor. This type of colon cancer examination is mainly used to understand the degree of tumor infiltration into the intestinal tract and whether there is local lymph node or distant organ metastasis. It can be used for preoperative staging and postoperative review. At present, surgical treatment supplemented by postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy is the main treatment method in clinical practice, but the effect on advanced colorectal cancer is not significant. Ginsenoside Rh2 is the main active ingredient extracted from the traditional Chinese medicine ginseng with anti-cancer effect. Previous studies have shown that it can induce cell differentiation and apoptosis to play an anti-tumor effect. Ginsenoside Rh2 (Hu Ming Su) has a unique advantage in improving the immunity of cancer patients. As an auxiliary treatment, it can inhibit cancer cells, fight inflammation and relieve pain, increase white blood cells, and reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy; it can also relieve pain, improve the quality of life, and prolong the life of patients. |
