Is itchy neck generally a sign of lymphoma?

1. Is it accompanied by a continuous fever? If the patient's neck lymph nodes itch and are accompanied by fever, it is lymphoma. Because in clinical lymphoma patients, the temperature will continue to rise, and it will not drop after rising. Some patients have an uncertain and irregular high fever. After the fever subsides, these patients sweat a lot, similar to the state of sweating like rain. Most lymphoma patients have this state when they have a fever and subside a fever.

2. Neck itching is also a major symptom of lymphoma: If the neck itches, but there is no obvious eczema or other flaky skin disease on the neck, lymphoma should be considered, because the most important feature of lymphoma patients is skin itching. The symptom of this itching is stubborn itching, unbearable itching, which is common in the lymph nodes of the neck and the lymph nodes under the armpits.

3. It is also necessary to identify whether there are any abnormal changes in the lymph nodes: when our neck is itchy, if the lymph nodes in the neck become larger, harder, and have a very textured feel, then we should consider lymphoma, because the invasion of cancer cells will cause lesions in the tissue of the lymph nodes. When we touch the outside with our hands, we can clearly feel that the lymph nodes are like soybeans and jujube pits, with a certain hardness. As the disease progresses, this feeling will gradually expand into large patches of skin abnormalities.
