How to treat fibroids? Learn about these 4 methods

Many people are particularly afraid of having fibroids, because when they hear that it is a tumor, they think it is a very serious disease. In fact, there are many types of tumors, some of which are not fatal. However, if you want to completely treat fibroids, it is advisable to use a variety of radiation to inhibit or kill fibroid cells, use chemical drugs to kill fibroid cells, immunotherapy, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment.

There are a lot of cells in a person's body, and cells are indispensable to everyone. However, some people's bodies have certain problems, causing their cells to become cancerous, that is, they suffer from fibroids. So, how to treat fibroids?
1. Use multiple radiation to inhibit or kill fibroid cells
(1) There are two application methods : external irradiation (such as various treatment machines) and internal irradiation (such as inserting radium needles into tissues).
(2) Various fibroids have different sensitivities to radiation and can be classified into three categories : ① Highly sensitive: such as lymphohematopoietic system fibroids, gonadal fibroids, etc., which are suitable for radiotherapy and have better effects.
② Moderately sensitive: such as nasopharyngeal cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, etc., radiotherapy can be used as part of comprehensive treatment.
③ Low sensitivity: such as gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma, soft tissue and bone sarcoma, etc., the radiotherapy effect is not good.
2. Chemotherapy
Use chemical drugs to kill fibroid cells. Chemical drugs can only kill a certain percentage of fibroid cells, and there is still a chance of recurrence after treatment. The combined use of multiple types of drugs is a possible way to control recurrence and reduce toxic side effects.
3. Immunotherapy ① Non-specific immunotherapy: such as BCG vaccination, measles vaccine, application of interferon, transfer factor, etc.
② Specific immunotherapy: that is, vaccination with autologous or allogeneic tumor vaccines or fibroid immune RNA, etc.
4. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment
It has a certain effect on the treatment of fibroids, and can also reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, reduce the pain of patients, and improve the treatment effect and quality of life. It can be used in conjunction with radiotherapy, chemotherapy or pre- and post-operative treatment.
Above we have explained the relevant treatment methods of fibroid disease from several aspects. However, if patients with fibroids want to be treated better, what we need to know is that patients with fibroids should be given certain treatments in the early stages of the disease, because any disease, especially patients with fibroids, have the best treatment effect in the early stages of the disease.
