What is early screening for lung cancer? You can do these three tests

If you want to determine whether a person has developed early lung cancer, you should use relevant screening methods to diagnose. Currently, one of the most commonly used and effective early screening methods in clinical practice is low-dose spiral CT examination, which will not cause harm to human health. You can also consider combining other examination methods as one of the basis for diagnosis, such as bronchoscopy and chest X-ray examination.

No matter what kind of disease is diagnosed, formal scientific examinations are indispensable, especially for some cancer diseases. Patients usually need to do a lot of examinations to determine whether they have the disease, such as lung cancer. This is a malignant tumor with a relatively high incidence rate. So what is the early screening for lung cancer?
1. Low-dose spiral CT examination
Low-dose spiral CT examination is one of the most effective and safest methods for early screening of lung cancer in clinical practice. This examination method can help the human body detect tiny lung cancers with a diameter of less than one centimeter, so its screening rate for early lung cancer is as high as 80%. Moreover, the radiation amount of low-dose spiral CT examination is only 1/4 of that of conventional CT, so there is no need to worry about the radiation of the examination causing any adverse reactions to the human body.
2. Bronchoscopy
Bronchoscopy is also one of the commonly used methods for early screening of lung cancer, mainly including bronchoscopic biopsy and bronchoscopic brushing under direct vision. The final test results can be used as one of the bases for pathological diagnosis. If a person does have early symptoms of lung cancer, then the examination can reveal suspicious small nodules in the person's lungs. In addition, for patients with early lung cancer, this type of examination usually determines the interval between reexaminations based on the individual's condition.
3. Chest X-ray examination
Chest X-ray examination is one of the most important and basic means of early screening for lung cancer, and the price is relatively cheap. Through chest X-ray examination, it can be clearly found that people with early symptoms of lung cancer have obvious small lumps in their bodies, but it is not easy to distinguish them from inflammation. Therefore, this treatment method generally needs to be combined with other examination methods to finally confirm whether a person has early symptoms of lung cancer. In addition, this examination method can also show that there are special x-ray symbols in the bodies of patients with early lung cancer.
