Cervical cancer is the second most common malignant tumor in China, and about 30,000 women die from cervical cancer each year. There are about 500,000 new cases of cervical cancer each year in the world, of which an estimated 13.5 million new cases account for about 1/4 of the total number of new cases in the world. Multiple miscarriages may lead to cervical cancer Clinical data show that cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant gynecological tumors. It used to occur in women around 50 years old, but now it occurs frequently in young women. Due to different educational levels in different regions, many women born in the 1970s and 1980s tend to go to two extremes: either they lack sex education and do not know how to prevent pregnancy, or they are avant-garde and have open sexual concepts, and even regard abortion as a joke. You know, unmarried young women had better not have sex too early, even if they start to have sex, they should know how to protect themselves. Women around 20 years old are most likely to be infected with papillomavirus (HpV), which can induce cervical cancer. Informal abortion and frequent abortion increase the chance of bacterial infection. Unlike unmarried women, married women are more likely to "get pregnant". Clinical statistics have found that more than 70% of married women have had abortions, most of whom have done it more than twice. Although abortion is a remedy for contraceptive failure rather than a means of controlling childbirth, many women of childbearing age do not take contraceptive measures in their lives, thinking that they are young and can complete it even if they have an abortion after getting pregnant. What's worse, some women start having sex less than a month after abortion. She especially reminds that frequent surgeries cause the healthy cervix to be harassed by instruments again and again, making it easy to be infected with human papillomavirus (HPV), which is the main cause of cervical cancer. What are the symptoms of cervical cancer? 1. Vaginal bleeding: (1) Young patients often present with contact bleeding, which occurs during sexual intercourse, gynecological examination, and after defecation. (2) The amount of bleeding may be more or less, generally depending on the size of the lesion and invasion of the interstitial blood vessels. (3) The amount of bleeding in the early stage is small, but in the late stage, the lesions are mostly massive bleeding, which may cause fatal massive bleeding once the large blood vessels are eroded. (4) Young patients may also experience prolonged menstruation, shortened menstrual cycle, increased menstrual volume, etc. Elderly patients often complain of irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause. 2. Vaginal discharge: (1) Patients often complain of increased vaginal discharge, which is white or bloody, as thin as water or rice soup, and has a fishy smell. (2) In the late stage, due to the rupture of cancerous tissue, tissue necrosis, secondary infection, etc., a large amount of purulent or rice-water-like smelly leucorrhea is discharged. 3. Symptoms of advanced cancer: (1) Secondary symptoms Secondary symptoms may occur depending on the disease. (2) When the lesion affects the pelvic connective tissue, pelvic wall, compresses the ureter or rectum, or sciatic nerve, symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, anal swelling, constipation, urgency, lower limb swelling and pain often occur, which can seriously lead to ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, and ultimately uremia. (3) At the end of the disease, the patient may experience weight loss, anemia, fever, and general exhaustion. There are four ways to prevent cervical cancer. Advocate late marriage, fewer children and better quality children. Delaying the age of starting sexual life and reducing the number of births can reduce the incidence of cervical cancer. Actively treat cervicitis If you have prolonged leucorrhea or abnormal vaginal bleeding, you should go to the hospital for examination immediately and take effective treatment measures. 3. Pay attention to hygiene and menstrual hygiene. Control sexual life appropriately. Sexual intercourse is not suitable during menstruation and the postpartum period. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the reproductive organs of both parties. It is best to wear a condom during sexual intercourse and reduce and eliminate multiple sexual partners. Regular gynecological examinations and cervical smears. It is recommended that married women undergo a gynecological examination and cervical cancer prevention examination once a year, and seek further examination and treatment in a timely manner. Cervical smear cytology is the simplest and most effective screening method, and colposcopic biopsy is the best diagnostic method. |
