How long can you live with cervical cancer? To prevent cervical cancer, you need to pay attention to these three aspects at all times

Cervical cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women and is the only cancer whose cause has been discovered so far. Cervical cancer is caused by human papillomavirus (HpV), which can be directly transmitted through skin contact and has a latent period of more than ten years. Therefore, there are no symptoms in the early stages. Cervical cancer can be prevented and measured. Timely screening for cervical cancer can effectively avoid misfortune.

How long can you live with cervical cancer?

Generally speaking, most advanced cervical cancers have metastasized and cannot be surgically removed. Clinically, the treatment of advanced cervical cancer mainly relies on drug therapy, including chemotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine. Depending on the situation of radiotherapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy should be combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment to play a role in reducing toxicity. Chemotherapy for cervical cancer mainly adopts combined chemotherapy.

The radiotherapy method for advanced cervical cancer varies according to the specific situation of the patient, and mainly adopts a combination of internal and external radiotherapy. As the radiotherapy time increases, the harm of radiation to the human body is gradually increasing. Therefore, the radiotherapy time and radiotherapy intensity should be determined according to tumor relief, symptom relief and treatment-related toxicity. In addition, in view of the toxicity and side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy on the human body, Chinese medicine should be combined to treat advanced cervical cancer. On the one hand, it can reduce the toxicity of radiotherapy and chemotherapy and reduce symptoms. On the other hand, it can improve the patient's immunity and disease resistance and improve the quality of life. For patients with advanced cervical cancer with a wide range of metastasis, weak physical function, and chemotherapy that is difficult to tolerate, conservative treatment with traditional Chinese medicine can be used. Although the short-term effect is not obvious, the long-term effect is good, and it is effective in improving the quality of life and prolonging survival.

Cervical cancer can also be treated with biological therapy in the late stage. Tumor biotherapy is a new and effective tumor treatment model and a new immune anti-cancer treatment method. It is a method that uses biotechnology and biological agents to culture and expand immune cells collected from the patient's body in vitro and then return them to the patient's body to stimulate and enhance the body's immune function, thereby achieving the purpose of treating tumors. Tumor biotherapy is the fourth largest tumor treatment technology after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The following three aspects prevent cervical cancer

First, regular physical examinations. Women of childbearing age should undergo a gynecological examination once a year, with an interval of no more than three years. TCT cervical cytology is an important method for detecting cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer. Even if there is no TCT, for grassroots hospitals with conditions, it is better to do ordinary scraping examinations than to do them poorly. As a measure to benefit the people throughout the year, the author's hospital conducts cervical cancer screening for school-age women every year. This year, it lasted for more than three months, screening more than 10,000 women, and found nearly 20 cases of cancer, suspected cancer and precancerous lesions, most of whom were young people. It can be seen that after years of publicity, the number of women who take the initiative to undergo gynecological examinations has indeed increased compared with the past, but the proportion of women who take the initiative to go to the hospital for screening is not satisfactory, and the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer is still not optimistic. From the beginning of infection, HPV virus from the occurrence and development of cervical cancer has a gradual natural course. As long as women screen for cervical cancer regularly, it is entirely possible to detect the "signs" of the disease in time and strangle it in the bud. At present, patients with early cervical cancer can basically be cured after treatment. In addition, in July this year, GlaxoSmithKline announced that its vaccine for preventing cervical cancer in women has obtained the marketing authorization from the State Food and Drug Administration, becoming the first batch of vaccines for preventing cervical cancer in China. HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine will provide a new and effective means for preventing cervical cancer in my country. The vaccine can be used for women aged 9-25, using a 3-dose immunization program, and is expected to be officially launched early next year.

Second, change the unclean sexual lifestyle. Especially the following people who are prone to cervical cancer should not take it lightly: persistent infection with high-risk HPV virus; unhealthy sexual behavior, including early sexual life, multiple sexual partners, and poor sexual hygiene, which will increase the risk of cervical cancer; early marriage, premature birth, multiple births, and multiple pregnant women; patients with sexually transmitted diseases, both men and women with genital warts, will increase the risk of cervical cancer; low immune function, smoking, and malnutrition.

Third, pay attention to abnormal symptoms of the body. Cervical cancer may not cause any discomfort in the early stages, and some symptoms are easily ignored. Women of childbearing age should learn to pay attention to the body's "health alarms". When contact bleeding or abnormal leucorrhea occurs, they must be vigilant and go to the hospital for treatment in time.
