1. If lung cancer metastasizes to the brain or bones, and the patient has already developed stage IV lung cancer, which is an advanced stage of lung cancer, the survival period will generally not be too long. Through active treatment, some patients can live for a maximum of one or two years, while some patients may only live for a few months.

2. The occurrence of lung cancer is generally related to smoking, occupational exposure, air pollution, ionizing radiation, etc. Lung cancer has no obvious symptoms. When the disease develops to a certain extent, most lung cancer patients have symptoms, and only a few patients have no symptoms when lung cancer is discovered. The symptoms mainly manifest as blood in sputum, irritating dry cough, asthma, chest pain, etc.

When lung cancer patients have brain metastases, they may also experience increased intracranial pressure, such as headache, nausea, vomiting and changes in mental status, rare epileptic seizures, cranial nerve involvement, hemiplegia, and ataxia. If lung cancer has brain metastases and bone metastases, radiotherapy or chemotherapy can be considered. Active treatment can prolong the patient's survival.
