What should lung cancer patients pay attention to in terms of diet? Introduction to TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment methods for lung cancer

What should lung cancer patients pay attention to in their diet?

Lung cancer mostly occurs because patients do not pay attention to disease prevention in their daily lives, and are affected by certain carcinogenic factors for a long time, which eventually leads to cancer. Therefore, once the lesion is discovered, those bad habits should be changed. Although it cannot fundamentally solve the problem, it can at least reduce adverse stimulation and thus slow down the development of the tumor.

Among many factors, diet has the greatest impact on patients. Good eating habits and a reasonable diet structure can improve the treatment effect to a certain extent and accelerate the patient's physical recovery. Patients and their families should pay attention to diet from the following aspects:

First of all, we should eliminate the fear of cancer in lung cancer patients psychologically to enhance their appetite. Generally, people will not have much appetite when they are pessimistic and desperate. Therefore, this is a prerequisite for improving the patient's diet. They should be allowed to face reality with a positive attitude and cooperate with treatment.

Secondly, we must pay attention to a reasonable diet structure and ensure that the patient consumes enough protein. Foods with high protein content include lean pork, beef, chicken, and duck. At the same time, fresh vegetables and fruits should be consumed to supplement vitamins, inorganic salts, etc., which provides patients with the material basis for fighting the disease; in addition, patients should avoid eating indigestible foods and fried, smoked, and pickled foods, as these foods generally have carcinogenic effects.

In addition, you can appropriately use traditional Chinese medicine and choose dietary remedies that suit you to relieve physical weakness during treatment and side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
