For liver cancer patients, the most important issue is the treatment of liver cancer. They are eager to find a way to completely cure liver cancer. Now some patients have better results with surgery, but surgery can also be divided into radical surgery and palliative surgery. The following is an introduction to this. 1. Radical surgery. The so-called radical refers to a surgery that can completely cure liver cancer, but it is also relative. Radical liver cancer surgery means: ① Complete removal of tumors visible to the naked eye, with no cancer at the margin; ② The number of tumors does not exceed 2; ③ There is no cancer thrombus in the main trunk and first-level branches of the portal vein, the common bile duct and first-level branches, the hepatic vein and the inferior vena cava; ④ There is no hilar lymph node metastasis; ⑤ There is no extrahepatic metastasis; ⑥ AFp drops to normal within 2 months after surgery (for those with positive AFp before surgery); ⑦ No residual tumor or recurrence and metastasis is found in imaging examinations within 2 months after surgery. 2. Palliative surgery. Palliative surgery means that the tumor tissue cannot be completely removed, but only a large part can be removed. Currently, for liver cancer that is judged to be unresectable before surgery, this surgery is not recommended because it is more traumatic, the residual tumor grows more actively, and there is a risk of tumor implantation and metastasis. Anti-tumor treatment should be strengthened after surgery, including ultra-chromatic intervention of residual tumors such as anhydrous alcohol injection, radiological interventional therapy, intraperitoneal chemotherapy drug infusion, etc., to delay the invasive growth and spread of residual tumors as much as possible. 3. Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. Currently, a new drug called ginsenoside Rh2 (life-protecting agent) has been developed in the clinic. After cancer patients take it, it has a good effect in shrinking tumors, controlling metastasis, stabilizing the condition, and improving the quality of life. |
