How is liver cancer caused by eating? To prevent liver cancer, don't eat this kind of food

With the progress of society, people's bad eating habits have led to an increasing number of liver cancer patients. Liver cancer not only endangers people's physical health, but also poses a serious threat to people's lives. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand the self-diagnosis of liver cancer. So, how do you self-diagnose liver cancer?

Beware of yellow rice, it may cause liver cancer

Rice is a finished product made from rice grains after cleaning, husking, milling, and finishing. It is one of the staple foods of humans. According to modern nutrition analysis, rice contains protein, fat, vitamins B1, A, E, and a variety of minerals. Although rice is stored in a cool and ventilated place with a shelf life of 6 months, its edible quality will gradually decline during storage, even if it does not heat up, grow insects, or mold, resulting in a decrease in nutritional content.

Normal rice is usually white (there are also purple rice, red rice, etc.). Rice that has been stored for a long time will turn light yellow, which is called yellow rice. The reason why rice turns yellow is that during the storage process, due to its high moisture content, the rice generates heat under the action of enzymes, causing mold to multiply, resulting in mold and yellow color. Molds include aflatoxin produced by fungi, which is a general term for toxic metabolites of Penicillium islandum, Penicillium citrinum, and Penicillium chrysogenum. Aflatoxin is also one of the main risk factors for liver cancer.

Experiments have shown that aflatoxin B1, the metabolite of aflatoxin, has a strong carcinogenic effect and a high incidence of liver cancer. Aflatoxin is not only found in rice, but also in our daily food. For example, it is most common in peanuts, peanut oil, corn, rice, and cottonseed. It has also been found in dried fruit foods such as walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, and dried peppers, in animal foods such as liver and salted fish, and in milk and dairy products.

Moreover, Aspergillus flavus is widely present in the soil, and produces toxins when the hyphae grow. The spores can spread into the air and infect the appropriate parasites under the right conditions to produce aflatoxin. Eating these foods containing "aflatoxin" can easily cause symptoms such as fever, abdominal pain, vomiting, loss of appetite, and liver lesions. After 2 to 3 months, the liver will swell, the liver area will be painful, the spleen will be enlarged, ascites, lower limb edema, and liver function abnormalities may also occur, and may also be accompanied by heart enlargement, pulmonary edema, and even convulsions and coma. Most patients will have severe bleeding in the rectum, liver, and stomach in the late stage.

How to Self-Diagnose Liver Cancer

If you have liver cancer, you will first feel tired. Even if you lie down and lie still, you will not be able to eliminate the fatigue. This kind of tiredness and fatigue that cannot be eliminated is a common symptom of liver disease. The heat energy generated by the food ingested by the human body will be absorbed by the intestines, and part of it will be transported to the liver, stored by the liver, and then transported to various cells throughout the body. If the liver is invaded by cancer cells, the fuel supply of the whole body will be reduced. As a result, the body will feel tired and exhausted due to insufficient heat energy. With this knowledge, we can self-diagnose liver cancer, but few people often realize that they may have liver cancer, so the disease is delayed.

If the cancerous tissue of liver cancer is a little larger, it may cause a dull feeling in the pit of the stomach or a dull pain in the upper right part of the abdomen. Even if it is not painful, there will be a sense of oppression and discomfort. Symptoms caused by stomach disorders often occur when suffering from liver cancer, including loss of appetite, nausea, fullness after eating, and stomach discomfort. If you lose weight, have unexplained fever from time to time, and develop jaundice, you must go to the hospital for liver cancer diagnosis methods such as alpha-fetoprotein, B-ultrasound, CT, and X-ray hepatic angiography.
