What are the early symptoms of liver cancer? These tests can detect liver cancer at an early stage

A survey shows that about 110,000 people die of liver cancer in my country every year. The proportion of young white-collar workers who work hard, are stressed, and often stay up late at night suffering from liver cancer is increasing year by year. But do you know that the early symptoms of liver cancer are very subtle?

Early symptoms of liver cancer are not obvious

The liver is the most sensitive and fragile organ in the human body. Fatigue, staying up late, and alcoholism can harm the liver. People who work hard and have great mental stress are in a sub-healthy state for a long time, resulting in low immunity. This long-term damage will turn into chronic liver damage and easily lead to liver cancer. Bad living habits such as alcoholism and smoking can also increase the incidence of liver cancer.

Liver cancer is divided into primary liver cancer and secondary liver cancer. Primary liver cancer refers to tumors formed by liver tissue lesions, and secondary liver cancer refers to liver cancer caused by tumors from other organs spreading to the liver. Liver cancer is highly malignant and the overall treatment effect is poor.

Most liver cancer patients are not diagnosed until the late stage, which is related to the process of liver cancer onset. The symptoms of liver cancer are not obvious in the early stage, and there may even be no discomfort for a long time after the onset of the disease. When the disease develops to a certain extent, symptoms such as pain in the liver area, loss of appetite, fatigue, and weight loss will gradually appear. Huge tumors can often be felt in the upper abdomen of liver cancer patients, but at this time, it is already in the middle and late stages and has even metastasized to the lungs.

Early detection of liver cancer still depends on examination

CT examination:

Currently, it is the most important imaging method for liver cancer diagnosis and differential diagnosis. It is used to observe the morphology and blood supply of liver cancer, the detection, characterization, and staging of liver cancer, and the follow-up after liver cancer treatment. Plain scan has limited value and can be used to observe fatty changes, bleeding, and deposition after iodized oil embolization. Enhanced scan should be considered routine, and direct enhanced scan is feasible, and plain scan can be added as needed.

B-mode ultrasound examination:

Ultrasound examination can not only clearly show the size and shape of the tumor and detect lesions with a diameter of 2 cm or even smaller, but it is also easy to operate and low in cost. Therefore, it is currently the best non-invasive examination method with positioning value.

MRI examination:

MRI examination is a powerful supplement to the imaging diagnosis of liver cancer, and it is becoming more and more important with the development of magnetic resonance technology. It has advantages in the detection and characterization of liver cancer in the context of fatty liver and cirrhosis, and in the determination of residual and recurrent tumors after interventional treatment of liver cancer. MRI plain scan has high tissue resolution and can analyze the internal structure of the lesion. Enhanced scan can understand the blood supply of the tumor. The combination of plain scan and enhanced scan is more helpful for the examination and diagnosis of liver cancer.

pET-CT:

This examination is the most advanced imaging equipment currently available. It can be used to confirm the primary lesion and detect metastatic lesions throughout the body. Especially in identifying metastatic lesions, it has far more advantages than CT and other examinations.
