What are the early clinical symptoms of lung cancer? What to know about the clinical symptoms of early lung cancer

Cancer is a life-threatening disease that can lead to death. There are many parts of the body that can get cancer, such as the stomach, lungs, and liver. Only the heart will not get cancer. So what symptoms will a patient have if he or she has early-stage lung cancer?

At present, the number of people suffering from lung cancer is increasing day by day. The main causes of lung cancer are smoking, environmental pollution, and some of the body's own cells. Lung cancer in the late stage is very painful, and the cure rate is relatively low. So what are the clinical symptoms of early lung cancer? How to detect lung cancer early?

1. There are many early symptoms of lung cancer. The most common symptom is cough. Many patients have this symptom. The cough caused by lung cancer is related to many complications. If the tumor grows with a large diameter and affects the bronchial mucosa above the segment that is sensitive to external stimulation, it will produce a cough similar to that caused by foreign body stimulation. The typical manifestation is that the patient will have a paroxysmal dry cough, and the symptoms will be aggravated for patients who smoke.

2 In addition to coughing, lung cancer in the early stages may also cause blood in sputum or hemoptysis. This is also a common symptom. This is because the patient's tumor tissue is rich in blood supply and has a brittle texture. A violent cough may cause blood vessels to rupture and bleed. It may also be caused by local tumor necrosis or vasculitis. The symptoms of coughing up blood are intermittent or continuous. Some patients may repeatedly have blood in a small amount of sputum. In severe cases, patients may even cough up large amounts of blood.

3 Some patients will experience chest pain. Patients with lung cancer will have irregular dull pain or pain in the chest. In many cases, this is because the surrounding lung cancer cells invade the pleura or chest wall, causing sharp or intermittent pleural pain. If it continues to develop, it will become continuous chest pain. Some patients will also have pain in the shoulders or chest, which indicates that the tumor has invaded the outside.

In addition to these symptoms, some patients may also experience chest tightness, shortness of breath, and hoarseness, which are all caused by cancer cells. If healthy patients have a history of smoking and work in a high-risk environment, they should go to the hospital for an examination in time to determine whether they have lung cancer so that they can receive early treatment.
