What are the symptoms of prostate cancer in the terminal stage

Prostate cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the male reproductive system. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly men. The incidence of prostate cancer continues to increase with age, so we need to be particularly vigilant in life. On the other hand, because the early symptoms are not obvious, many patients are in the late stage when they are discovered. There are more late complications, which brings a lot of pain to patients. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of late-stage death from prostate cancer.

Symptoms before death from prostate cancer

As prostate cancer progresses, it enters the late stage with more complications and becomes more difficult to treat. Understanding the symptoms of late-stage prostate cancer can better help patients receive symptomatic treatment.

1. Obstruction symptoms: Urinary tract obstruction is the most common symptom of late-stage prostate cancer. The gradual enlargement of prostate cancer tumors will compress the male urethra and cause obstruction, causing men to have difficulty urinating, thinning urine flow, and deviated and bifurcated urine flow. Of course, late-stage symptoms such as prolonged urination, frequent urination, urgency, pain, and a feeling of incomplete urination will appear one after another. Severe prostate cancer in the late stage will cause symptoms of urinary retention.

2. Systemic symptoms: In addition to some symptoms of the disease itself, many male patients in the late stage of prostate cancer will have many systemic symptoms. Weight loss, fatigue, low fever, progressive anemia, etc. are common systemic symptoms. Severe patients may have cachexia or renal failure.

3. Pain: In the late stage of prostate cancer, the tumor will metastasize. Once it invades the male nerves, or hydronephrosis occurs, or an infection occurs, cancer pain may occur. The waist, sacrum, buttocks, hips, pelvis and other parts are common areas of cancer pain. Of course, nearly one-third of patients with late-stage prostate cancer will experience pain symptoms.

4. Tumor metastasis: Prostate cancer will metastasize in the late stage. Metastasis is an extremely common phenomenon. Among them, lymph node metastasis and hematogenous metastasis are the most common tumor metastases. In addition, lymph node metastasis may occur in the internal iliac cavity, external iliac cavity, waist, groin and other parts. Bones and internal organs are the sites of hematogenous metastasis.

Once prostate cancer progresses to the late stage, not only will the treatment become very difficult, but it will also cause serious adverse harm to the patient. Therefore, for patients with advanced prostate cancer, a complete cure is unlikely. The only way is to prolong the patient's survival as much as possible through reasonable treatment, reduce the patient's pain, and allow advanced patients to live a normal life.

Patients with advanced prostate cancer have more complications. Their physical constitution is poor, so they should avoid lethal treatments and use mild traditional Chinese medicine treatments. Traditional Chinese medicine treatments do not require surgery, chemotherapy, or hospitalization, and are painless, risk-free, and non-toxic. Generally, the treatment itself will not cause new damage to physical strength. As cancer improves, physical strength will gradually recover and immunity will be gradually enhanced, thus prolonging the patient's survival.
