What are the causes of prostate cancer?

Prostate cancer mainly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people. Although the causative factors of prostate cancer are not yet clear enough, in fact, the onset of prostate cancer is closely related to age, genetics, or diet. We must pay enough attention to it. The following is a summary of the causes of prostate cancer:

One of the factors causing prostate cancer: environment. Studies have shown that cadmium pollution in the external environment can increase the incidence of prostate cancer.

The second factor causing prostate cancer: age. The older a man is, the higher his chance of developing prostate cancer.

The third factor causing prostate cancer: diet. Eating a large amount of saturated fatty acids in your daily diet increases your chances of developing prostate cancer, as saturated fatty acids are triggers of prostate cancer.

The fourth factor causing prostate cancer: infection. Long-term, chronic bacterial or viral infection will greatly increase the chance of prostate cancer.

The fifth factor of prostate cancer is heredity. If a relative or friend has prostate cancer, the chance of getting prostate cancer is higher than that of the general population; in other words, about 9% of prostate cancer patients have a family history of the disease.

The sixth factor of prostate cancer: hormone levels in the body. The more male hormones a man secretes, the greater the chance of developing prostate cancer. For this reason, people who have been castrated or have testicular dysplasia will not get prostate cancer, but I believe no man is willing to pay this price to stay away from prostate cancer.

Although prostate cancer generally does not occur in young and middle-aged people, if the prostate is not adequately cared for in young and middle-aged people, and if the prostate is frequently exposed to diseases that can affect the prostate, it will definitely cause chronic effects on the prostate. Due to long-term chronic damage, it is very easy to cause prostate cancer in old age.
