How to diagnose prostate cancer? These 4 tests are necessary for diagnosing prostate cancer

Prostate cancer has attracted the attention of many men. The disease endangers the health of the prostate gland in men. Patients are prone to symptoms such as progressive dysuria, slow urine flow, thin urine stream, short range, interrupted urine flow and other uncomfortable symptoms, which bring inconvenience to men and affect the normal life of patients. It is particularly important to diagnose prostate cancer. Knowing the following examination methods will help everyone deal with prostate cancer.

1. CT or MRI examination. Active examination can show the morphological changes, tumors and metastasis of the patient's prostate. During CT enhanced scanning, the cancer lesion appears as a low-density area with no obvious enhancement, the capsule generally appears irregular, the fat around the gland disappears significantly, and after the seminal vesicle is invaded, it can be found that the boundary of the seminal vesicle is seriously blurred. Especially when the tumor invades the bladder or the organs around the prostate, pelvic CT can find corresponding changes. When the pelvic lymph nodes have tumor metastasis, CT can be combined with the size changes of the pelvic lymph node group to determine whether metastasis has occurred.

2. B-ultrasound examination can reveal low-echo nodules in the male prostate, but they should be differentiated from inflammation or stones.

3. Compared with X-rays, radionuclide bone scanning can show metastatic lesions at an early stage and is an ideal examination method.

4. Blood test: the patient's serum prostate-specific antigen is significantly elevated. In a few patients, the PSA will not be elevated, but will fluctuate slightly within the normal range. For example, combining PSA determination with rectal digital examination can significantly improve the detection rate, which is of great help to treatment.

Inspection work is very important. Friends should be vigilant about prostate cancer. Every man is reminded to have a thorough understanding of prostate cancer and pay attention to treatment. A careful inspection is needed before treatment, and the treatment of the disease should be started based on the patient's examination results. During the treatment, the patient should not be tired and temporarily abstain from sexual intercourse to avoid aggravating the condition.
