What tests should be done before getting the cervical cancer vaccine

Before receiving the cervical cancer vaccine, women need to undergo routine gynecological examinations, HPV screening, infectious disease screening, etc. At the same time, they should also understand their allergy history and past medical history, and explain their own situation to the doctor during vaccination.

1. Routine gynecological examination: including colposcopy and B-ultrasound examination. The main purpose is to rule out organic pelvic lesions, such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and other space-occupying diseases. If no abnormalities are found, cervical cancer vaccine can be injected under the guidance of a professional doctor.

2. HPV screening: that is, human papillomavirus testing. Because some patients infected with high-risk human papillomavirus may induce cervical cancer, HPV screening is needed in advance. If there is persistent infection with high-risk types, cervical cancer vaccine is not recommended, and surgical treatment is required if necessary.

3. Infectious disease screening: Since there may be some adverse reactions after the injection of cervical cancer vaccine, such as pain at the injection site, erythema or fever, you should pay attention to physical changes. If there are no obvious symptoms, there is no need to worry. Otherwise, you should inform the doctor in time and take measures.

4. Other matters: Before injecting the cervical cancer vaccine, it is necessary to clarify whether there is a history of allergies. If you are allergic to protein or yeast, you cannot inject the cervical cancer vaccine. In addition, you need to ask whether you have plans to get pregnant. It is generally not recommended to get pregnant during the vaccination period to avoid affecting the effect of the vaccine.

In addition, you need to follow the doctor's advice to undergo electrocardiogram, chest X-ray, blood and urine routine, liver and kidney function tests, etc. to ensure that your health is suitable for vaccination. If you have an acute infection or other disease, you should postpone the vaccination until your condition stabilizes.
