The simplest and fastest way to stop vomiting in pancreatic cancer

There is no simple and quick way to stop vomiting in pancreatic cancer. Vomiting in pancreatic cancer is generally believed to be caused by factors such as drug side effects, tumor compression, and insufficient pancreatic secretion. Targeted treatment should be carried out according to the cause, as follows:

1. Side effects of drugs

If pancreatic cancer patients use chemotherapy drugs such as gemcitabine, capecitabine, and Segalovirus during treatment, it may irritate the gastrointestinal tract and cause vomiting.

If the patient's vomiting is not severe, the diet structure should be adjusted to reduce the intake of greasy food. Oranges, hawthorns, oranges and other foods can be eaten appropriately to help relieve vomiting symptoms. If the patient's vomiting symptoms are severe, ondansetron, granisetron, metoclopramide and other drugs can be used under the guidance of a doctor to relieve them. Vomiting caused by side effects of chemotherapy drugs can generally be relieved after stopping the drug, so patients don't need to worry too much.

2. Tumor compression

If the pancreatic cancer patient has a large tumor, it may compress the gastrointestinal tract, increase gastrointestinal pressure, and cause vomiting.

When the pancreatic tumor is compressed, the patient can be treated with surgery. Common surgical methods include tumor resection, total pancreatectomy, pancreaticoduodenectomy, etc. The overall prognosis of pancreatic cancer is poor, but active treatment can alleviate symptoms and prolong survival.

3. Insufficient pancreatic secretion

The pancreas is an important digestive organ in the human body. When pancreatic cancer occurs, tumor cells will destroy pancreatic tissue, resulting in a decrease in the digestive enzymes secreted by the pancreas, affecting the patient's normal digestive function and causing vomiting.

Patients can undergo digestive enzyme replacement therapy under the guidance of a doctor. Commonly used drugs include multienzyme tablets, pancreatic enzyme enteric-coated capsules, etc., which can relieve vomiting symptoms, but may not be able to cure it.
