Causes and treatments of head glioma

Causes and treatments of head glioma

Head glioma may be caused by genetic factors, bad living habits, pollution, infection, brain damage, etc. It can be treated with general treatment, surgical treatment, comprehensive treatment, etc. It is recommended to seek medical treatment in time, and after the cause is determined, take corresponding improvement or treatment measures under the guidance of a doctor. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Genetic factors: It may be caused by genetic genes. If someone in the family has a history of glioma, the chance of the offspring getting the disease may increase. It can be treated by surgery, such as total resection and subtotal resection, which can be performed once or multiple times.

2. Bad living habits: If you have bad living habits for a long time, such as eating unclean food and being depressed, the incidence of brain tumors may increase. First of all, you need to pay attention to improving bad living habits, go to bed early and get up early, go to bed before 9 o'clock every day, and ensure 8 to 9 hours of sleep. At the same time, you need to pay attention to maintaining a good mood, listen to music or go outdoors to relax and reduce the incidence.

3. Pollution: If you work in industrial areas such as papermaking, chemical industry, oil refining, metal smelting, etc. for a long time, the air and environmental pollution may cause brain glioma. Patients should pay attention to avoid being in a polluted environment frequently, open windows for ventilation, and have regular brain CT and MRI examinations every year. If you are diagnosed with brain glioma, you can choose radiotherapy, which is a common treatment method that kills tumor tissue through radiation.

4. Infection: When the body is infected, such as Epstein-Barr virus infection, human adenovirus infection, etc., brain cells may be damaged, increasing the incidence of brain glioma. You can follow the doctor's advice to treat it with antiviral drugs, including acyclovir tablets, valacyclovir hydrochloride tablets, ganciclovir dispersible tablets, etc. If there is obvious hydrocephalus, ventriculoperitoneal shunt or ventricular puncture external drainage should be performed first.

5. Brain injury: If there is brain injury, the damage and stimulation of the nervous system may cause the division of glial cells and increase the incidence of brain glioma. Follow the doctor's advice and take drugs such as methylcobalamin tablets, vitamin B1 tablets, vitamin B12 tablets and other nerve nourishing drugs. For patients with open brain injury, debridement and suturing can be performed. For patients with closed brain injury, drilling exploration, ventricular drainage, craniotomy hematoma removal, etc. can be performed.

During the treatment period, you should pay attention to daily care, avoid eating spicy and irritating foods, and supplement nutrition. At the same time, you should ensure that the living environment has good air circulation and avoid long-term contact with toxic and harmful substances.
