Symptoms and treatment of cervical cancer

Symptoms of cervical cancer include vaginal bleeding, increased secretions or changes in nature, frequent urination or constipation, pain during sexual intercourse, vaginal bleeding, etc. You can follow the doctor's advice to undergo extensive hysterectomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, etc. If you have any discomfort, it is recommended to seek medical attention in time and receive treatment under the doctor's advice.

1. Weight loss and fatigue: As cervical cancer progresses, systemic symptoms such as weight loss and persistent fatigue may occur. The preferred treatment for early cervical cancer may include extensive hysterectomy, pelvic lymph node dissection, and para-aortic lymph node sampling.

2. Increased discharge or changes in properties: Cervical discharge may increase, and the color and properties may also change, such as bloody or abnormal discharge. Radiotherapy uses high-energy radiation to kill cancer cells. Advanced cervical cancer mainly relies on radiotherapy for treatment, which can be used alone or in combination with chemotherapy.

3. Frequent urination or constipation: When cervical cancer invades surrounding tissues, it may cause symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency or constipation. This is because cervical cancer may affect the nearby urethra or rectum. Chemotherapy is a drug that kills cancer cells. It is suitable for the treatment of advanced or widely metastatic cervical cancer and can also be used in combination with radiotherapy.

4. Pain during sexual intercourse: You may feel pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse, which is caused by cervical cancer lesions involving the cervix. Targeted therapy is a new type of treatment that targets specific molecules and signaling pathways of cancer cells, and its effectiveness is still under research.

5. Vaginal bleeding: One of the most typical symptoms of cervical cancer is vaginal bleeding, especially after sexual intercourse or after a gynecological examination. This bleeding is particularly noteworthy after menopause. Immunotherapy is an emerging treatment method that activates the immune system to attack cancer cells.

To prevent cervical cancer and maintain good health, you should pay attention to a balanced diet, moderate exercise, and adequate rest and sleep in your daily life.
