Eye sores are thick lumps at the corners of the eyes. When we were young, our parents often taught us not to stare at others while they were eating, otherwise we would get eye sores. In fact, this is a superstitious belief. The appearance of eye sores is actually caused by infection, which is usually because the patient does not pay attention to eye hygiene. Long-term eye sores without treatment may affect vision. You can treat eye sores by making some folk remedies at home. 1. Scratching back method The back scratching method can be used to treat eye sores. We can use a match head or the more common type of match to scratch along the inner edge of our shoulder blade from top to bottom. Repeat this about three times. Then we switch back and scratch from the other side to the other end. Do this once in the morning and once in the evening. It can remove toxins and dissipate heat, and can cure eye sores. 2. Thread-tying middle finger technique We can use cotton thread, wool thread or hemp thread. If we have an eye sore in our left eye, we can wrap it around the middle finger of our right hand. Of course, if the right eye is diseased, we can wrap it around the middle finger of our left hand. Wrap it two or three times and tie it up. The degree of wrapping should be such that no purple bruises appear on our fingertips. It should not be too loose or too tight. It is best to tie it before going to bed at night and untie it the next day. This will help the eye sore to fester. 3. Ear acupuncture First, we need to disinfect the tip of our ear, then use the tip of a medical needle to pierce the tip of the ear about one millimeter, pull it out as soon as it is inserted, then press the area to release a drop of blood, and then we can wipe it with a cotton ball. This has a very good effect on the reduction and disappearance of eye sores. 4. Chinese medicine eye wash method There is also a most direct way to treat eye sores. We use mugwort and pepper to boil salt water, and then when the water temperature drops to about 37 degrees, we find a piece of clean gauze to wash the eyes. Do this once every one or two hours, at least three or four times a day. It is best to use some eye ointment, so that the effect will be better. 5. Decoction method In addition to external methods, there is also an internal method. We boil wild chrysanthemum and safflower in water and take it once or twice a day. We can also boil loofah vines, fresh water chestnuts and tea leaves in water and drink it, which is also very effective. You can also boil pomegranate leaves and mung beans in water and drink it. |
