We all know that homes need to be ventilated and disinfected every day, especially for old buildings. Because the buildings are older, there may be more bacteria in the house. Regular disinfection can prevent many diseases, especially when infectious diseases strike. Regular disinfection of the house can kill many bacteria. So what is the best way to disinfect the room? Common household disinfection methods include: 1. Physical disinfection method. (1) Ventilation. Open windows frequently to promote indoor air circulation and reduce or eliminate indoor pathogens. Ventilation time can be longer in summer, and in winter the windows should be opened 2 to 3 times a day, each time for about 20 minutes. (2) Ultraviolet disinfection method. Expose the items to be disinfected directly under sunlight. The stronger the sunlight and the longer the exposure time, the better the sterilization effect. When exposing the items to the sun, turn them over frequently so that all sides of the items can be directly exposed to the sunlight. The purpose of disinfection can be achieved within 4 to 6 hours. Or use ultraviolet light, which has a better disinfection effect on objects with smooth surfaces. The room must be clean before disinfection, and people must leave during irradiation. The disinfection time should be more than 30 minutes. (3) Incineration disinfection method. It will have no preservation value, be infected with bacteria and be flammable. Burn the burnable items with fire. When burning toilet paper, cotton balls, and tissues, pay attention to safety and keep them away from flammable and explosive items to avoid burns or fire. (4) Boiling disinfection method. Wash items that are not afraid of boiling, such as clothes and dishes, and boil them in boiling water for 15 minutes to achieve the purpose of disinfection. (5) Steam sterilization. Place the items for sterilization in a steamer or steam pot, and cook for 15 minutes after the water boils. 2. Chemical disinfection. (1) Wiping method Wiping contaminated objects with chemical liquid is often used for disinfection of floors, displayed items, etc. 0.5-3% bleaching powder clarified liquid, 2% new detergent, etc. can be used. (2) Soaking method Soak the items to be sterilized in the disinfectant. This is mostly used for daily utensils that cannot or are inconvenient to steam or cook. The soaking time depends on the nature of the items and the solution, and then rinse with clean water. (3) Fumigation method. Disinfection is carried out using the gas produced by disinfectants, and is often used to disinfect rooms and indoor surfaces where infectious patients have lived. (4) Spray method. Put the disinfectant into an ordinary sprayer and spray it into the space. Close the doors and windows for 1 hour after spraying and leave temporarily. |
