Is liver cancer intervention harmful to the body?

Liver cancer intervention generally causes great harm to the body, such as intraoperative allergies, intraoperative bleeding, intraoperative bile-cardiac reflex, etc.

1. Allergy during surgery: Interventional treatment of liver cancer usually uses chemotherapy drugs, which can effectively block the blood supply to the tumor, causing ischemic necrosis of the tumor to achieve the purpose of treatment. If you have an allergic reaction to the chemotherapy drugs used, you may experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and urticaria during the operation. Severe allergic reactions may also be life-threatening. If the allergy is more serious, you need to follow the doctor's advice, use a mask to breathe oxygen in time, and use epinephrine for treatment.

2. Intraoperative bleeding: If the doctor's operating method is improper, interventional treatment may cause arterial dissection rupture and bleeding. It is necessary to cooperate with the doctor to use membrane stents to cover the damaged blood vessels in time, and use medical glue or spring coils to embolize and stop bleeding.

3. Intraoperative bile-cardiac reflex: During the interventional treatment, it may cause liver hypoxia and pain, stimulate the bile duct vascular vagus nerve, and cause symptoms such as chest tightness, arrhythmia, decreased heart rate, and decreased blood pressure. It is necessary to follow the doctor's advice to breathe oxygen in time and use high-pressure treatments such as atropine sulfate injection and dopamine hydrochloride injection.

It may also lead to liver failure, etc. Therefore, during interventional treatment, experienced doctors are needed to perform the surgery to reduce damage to the body.
