How long can you live with poorly differentiated non-small cell lung cancer?

Poorly differentiated non-small cell lung cancer patients may survive for about half a year, or may survive for 1 to 3 years or longer. The specific time cannot be generalized. It is affected by the severity of the disease, treatment and personal constitution.

1. Disease severity: As a type of lung cancer, it is relatively malignant. If the disease is in the early stage and no metastatic lesions are found, most patients will live a long time, up to about 5 years. If it is in the middle or late stage, cancer cells are easy to metastasize and spread, and the patient may survive for about half a year.

2. Treatment: This type of lung cancer can be treated surgically, including local resection, lobectomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. If the treatment is timely, the survival rate can be appropriately improved, and the survival time is about 1-3 years; if the treatment is not timely, the survival time will be shortened as the disease worsens.

3. Personal physique: The patient's own physical fitness is good. After the condition is confirmed, the lesion is actively removed by surgery, and chemotherapy is used as an adjuvant treatment after surgery. If there is no recurrence and metastasis during the recovery period, the patient may live for more than 3 years. If the patient is older, has a poor physique, and is intolerant to the treatment method, the treatment effect will be reduced and the survival rate will also be reduced.

It is also affected by post-care. During the daily recovery period, you should rest more, avoid strenuous exercise in a short period of time, have regular physical examinations, and maintain an optimistic attitude towards life.
