Will bronchial lung cancer cause bloody mucus?

Will bronchial lung cancer cause bloody nasal discharge?

Bronchogenic lung cancer generally does not cause nose bleeding, because the disease is a malignant tumor that originates from the bronchi and alveoli. After the onset of the disease, the main symptom is coughing, which rarely affects the health of the nose and will not cause nose bleeding. If nose bleeding occurs during the onset of the disease, you should be alert to nasal foreign bodies, dry nasal mucosa, sinusitis, etc., and you need to seek medical diagnosis in time to obtain targeted treatment. Bronchogenic lung cancer has obvious symptoms, and it is easy to have chest pain, chest tightness, shortness of breath, fever, cough and other symptoms.

1. Chest pain

Because the tumor invades the pleura or chest wall, the dull pain and other symptoms often increase significantly with breathing and coughing. Especially when the tumor invades the ribs or spine, the pain symptoms will continue to exist.

2. Chest tightness and shortness of breath

When the tumor compresses the large airways or metastasizes, it can cause varying degrees of chest tightness and shortness of breath.

3. Fever

If the condition of patients with bronchial lung cancer continues to progress, the tumor will compress or block the bronchi, leading to pneumonia and atelectasis. During this period, the patient will have a fever and feel unwell.

4. Cough

Cough is the most obvious symptom of bronchial lung cancer. When tumor cells occur in the airways, it will cause paroxysmal or irritating coughs, accompanied by a small amount of foamy sputum. Some patients may have secondary infections, resulting in increased sputum volume, sometimes with mucopurulent sputum.

When patients with bronchial lung cancer are in good physical condition, they can engage in appropriate physical exercise to increase their lung capacity and help improve their body's resistance to disease.
