What are the symptoms of skin cancer

Skin cancer is a malignant tumor. Its main symptom is a rapidly enlarging mass in a short period of time, followed by repeated skin ulcers and cauliflower neoplasms. Biopsy is mainly used for pathological diagnosis. Skin cancer is first treated with extended excision. Metastatic skin cancer cannot be treated surgically. Iodine-125 particle radiotherapy or argon-helium cryoablation can be used. At the same time, external radiotherapy and chemotherapy are also needed.

Treating Skin Cancer

Skin cancer includes three main types, which are treated differently. Basal cell carcinoma of the skin is located in the superficial layer of the skin, without extensive infiltration or metastatic lesions, and is mainly treated with extended excision. The malignancy is relatively low, and the treatment effect is very good. The second type is squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, which may appear as skin lumps and cauliflower lumps. Skin squamous cell carcinoma is diagnosed by biopsy pathology. Regional lymph node metastasis may occur, and lymph node cleaning is required, and radiotherapy and chemotherapy are required after surgery. The third type is malignant melanoma, which is mainly manifested by repeated rupture and non-healing of black tumors. If you can have surgery, you must have surgery first, and then cooperate with biological immunotherapy, targeted therapy, etc. The malignancy is relatively high, and the treatment effect is also the worst.

Can skin cancer be cured?

Skin cancer is a common malignant tumor of the skin that progresses slowly and generally has little impact. Clinical pathological biopsy can confirm the diagnosis. The treatment of this disease is mainly surgical treatment. During the operation, attention should be paid to whether there are residual cancer cells at the surgical margin. After surgery, it is determined whether radiotherapy is needed based on the pathological condition. Most skin cancers have good treatment effects and can be cured. A few skin cancers, such as malignant melanoma, have a poor prognosis and should be combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery to improve survival.
