What is iliac osteosarcoma

Sarcoma is a highly malignant tumor that often occurs in long bones and large joints. Sarcoma can metastasize to the lungs and invade bone tissue, so a bone scan and chest CT scan are needed to confirm the severity of the disease. In the absence of metastasis, surgical treatment is the first choice. After surgery, pathology confirms the stage of the disease. If necessary, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are needed to reduce the recurrence and metastasis rates. At the same time, traditional Chinese medicine can be given to fight tumors and enhance immune therapy.

Symptoms of Chondrosarcoma

Chondrosarcoma is the second most common malignant tumor after osteosarcoma. It generally occurs in middle-aged and elderly people. The younger the disease is, the more malignant it is and the worse the prognosis is. It mainly occurs in the ilium, scapula and long bones of the limbs, such as near the knee joint. The main symptom is pain, especially dull pain in the lesion site at night, and lumps may gradually appear. It grows relatively slowly, and generally there are few symptoms of nerve and blood vessel compression. The treatment method is mainly surgery, because chondrosarcoma is not very sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy. If surgery is performed in the early stage, it can be cured. In recent years, some doctors have also tried to use radiotherapy sensitizers for radiotherapy, and have achieved good results.

What to do about osteosarcoma

Chondrosarcoma is a common malignant tumor in clinical practice. This disease progresses rapidly and is prone to recurrence and metastasis. This relatively small disease has no obvious clinical symptoms. When the lesion enlarges, a local hard mass may appear. CT, magnetic resonance imaging, X-ray and other examinations can be used to evaluate the relationship between the size of the lesion and the surrounding area, and guide the selection of clinical treatment plans. The treatment of this disease is mainly surgical treatment. The pathological conditions that should be paid attention to after surgery, the degree of surgical resection should be clarified, and the selection of postoperative treatment plans should be guided.
