What is the cause of colorectal cancer

What are the causes of colorectal cancer?

Since the incidence of colon cancer is relatively high, people should also take relevant preventive measures in their daily lives, starting with the common causes of colorectal cancer to play a targeted preventive role. The common causes of colorectal cancer mainly include dietary factors, genetic factors, polyps and chronic inflammatory stimulation.

1. Dietary factors

Many people develop colorectal cancer because they eat high-fat and high-calorie foods for a long time in their daily lives. Because high-fat foods stimulate the rapid increase of bile secretion in the human body and promote the continuous growth of anaerobic bacteria in the intestines. When bile alcohol and bile salts are decomposed by anaerobic bacteria to form unsaturated cholesterol, it will eventually lead to the continuous increase of deoxycholic acid and lithocholic acid in the human body. These two substances are the main substances that cause the onset of rectal cancer.

2. Genetic Factors

Some people will develop colorectal cancer, which is actually caused by genetic factors. This is mainly because when the genes of normal cells in the human body change, cancer patients will acquire susceptibility due to inheritance, coupled with certain stimulating factors, the sudden appearance will cause tissue cells to grow rapidly and eventually develop into cancer.

3. Polyps

When people ignore colorectal polyps and do not receive treatment as soon as possible, it is more likely to cause the muscles to gradually turn into cancer. At present, it is generally believed in medicine that the probability of rectal polyps turning into cancer is relatively high, especially familial multiple adenomatous polyposis, which is more likely to develop cancer.

4. Chronic Inflammatory Stimulation

Long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract often leads to the onset of colorectal cancer, such as schistosomiasis and nonspecific ulcerative colitis. The long-term onset of these diseases will cause great stimulation and damage to the gastrointestinal tract of the human body, and therefore it is easy to cause cancer.
