Can stomach cancer be cured?

Gastric cancer is a tumor disease that occurs in the stomach. The stomach is still a very important organ in the human body because people's diet passes through the stomach, is absorbed, digested, and finally gives nutrition to the body. The treatment method of gastric cancer should be determined according to its own situation and the spread of cancer to determine whether it can be cured. If early gastric cancer occurs, surgical treatment should be performed in time. If it is advanced gastric cancer, although professional comprehensive treatment has been carried out, the survival rate is relatively low.

1. Resection surgery

The treatment of gastric cancer should be determined according to one's own situation and the spread of cancer. If the cancer cells have not spread and metastasized, and the preoperative symptoms are relatively mild, there is no need for resection surgery. However, if the patient has symptoms such as bleeding, hemorrhage, and partial tissue obstruction, a dividend tumor resection should be performed. The specific survival rate after surgery varies depending on the patient's situation and no one can guarantee it.

2. Traditional Therapy

The most common symptom of gastric cancer is cancer metastasis. According to traditional Chinese medicine, gastric cancer metastasis is caused by long-term congestion and accumulation in the body, and toxins in the body penetrate into other parts of the body, leading to gastric cancer metastasis. Therefore, this reason should be taken into consideration and symptomatic treatment can be used.

3. Chemotherapy and drug combination therapy

Chemotherapy can also be performed at the same time as drug treatment. Although chemotherapy will cause a certain degree of pain or some side effects to patients, the metastasis of gastric cancer is due to the relative fragility of the body, so chemotherapy cannot be simply accepted. We should combine it with drugs to improve the survival rate of patients. If symptoms such as nausea and vomiting occur during chemotherapy, you can take some metoclopramide, dexamethasone, etc. orally to relieve it, or you can inject some sodium creatine phosphate to protect the organs of the body and avoid damage. At the same time, dietary nutrition can be supplemented through a gastric tube or intestinal nutrition, because during gastric cancer, symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, loss of appetite, and repeated vomiting will occur.
