Early symptoms of right brain glioma

Early symptoms of right brain glioma

The early symptoms of right-sided brain glioma may be relatively hidden, but if they include headaches, limb weakness, blurred vision, etc., they should be taken seriously and medical attention should be sought promptly.

Gliomas are common brain tumors caused by abnormal proliferation of glial cells. Because the right side of the brain mainly controls the activities and perceptions of the left side of the body, the location of the tumor may affect different functions. Early symptoms are often related to the size, location and proliferation rate of the tumor.

Common early symptoms include headaches, especially in the morning, which may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting; weakness, numbness, or incoordination on one side of the body (usually the left side); vision may become blurred or even visual field loss may occur. Language ability and mood may also be slightly affected, and some people may experience temporary memory loss or difficulty concentrating.

Once the above symptoms are found and continue to appear, especially if the symptoms gradually worsen, it is recommended to see a doctor for brain imaging examinations such as MRI to check for tumors. Pay attention to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and avoid drug abuse. If there is a known family history of genetic diseases, regular physical examinations should be conducted for early detection and early diagnosis.
