Symptoms of neuralgia

Symptoms of neuralgia

In many cases, people will definitely experience some discomfort in their bodies, and neuralgia is one of them. I believe that everyone’s understanding of this disease is relatively low. Precisely because of this, this disease is receiving more and more attention, so people will do their best to understand what this disease is like. The most important thing is to be able to help everyone treat this disease well.

What are the symptoms of this neuralgia? I believe this is something that everyone is more interested in, and it can also increase everyone's common sense. Because of this, below is some information about the symptoms of this type of neuralgia.

1. Sciatica is more common in middle-aged and elderly men, and is more common on one side. The onset is sudden, with lower back pain and waist stiffness at first. Or a few weeks before the onset of the disease, there is a short pain in the lower limbs when walking and exercising. Later, it gradually worsens and develops into severe pain. The pain starts from the waist, buttocks or hips, and spreads downward along the posterior thigh fossa, the outer side of the calf and the dorsum of the foot. On the basis of persistent pain, there are bursts of intensified burning or needle-like pain. It is more severe at night.

The main symptoms of sciatica are that patients usually complain of increased pain in the lower back and thigh or calf when they wake up in the morning. The pain will gradually subside within an hour after getting up.

2. Symptoms worsen when standing up from sitting position. Walking or standing for a long time will also aggravate the pain. Coughing, sneezing, or straining to have a bowel movement may make the pain worse. Conversely, symptoms may be relieved when lying down. Once the disease occurs, the patient's ribs and costal cartilage junction will become bow-shaped, swollen, and dull pain, sometimes radiating to the shoulders, back, armpits, neck and chest, and sometimes chest tightness and shortness of breath. The pain is relieved when resting or lying on the side, and the pain is aggravated by deep breathing, coughing, lying flat, chest straightening and fatigue.

Through the above understanding and introduction, I believe everyone has a more detailed understanding of the symptoms of this neuralgia. At the same time, I also hope that everyone can be helped by the above knowledge. In daily life, everyone should also do more exercise and improve their physical fitness to resist the occurrence of this disease. I also hope that everyone has a healthy body.
