Third, according to the U.S. Dietary Allowance Standard, adults need 1 ml of water for every kilocalorie of energy consumed, while infants need 1.5 ml of water. An adult consumes an average of about 2,000 kcal of calories per day, so according to this calculation method, the daily water requirement for an adult is between 2,000 and 2,500 ml.

Regardless of the calculation method, each person should consume no less than 2000 ml of water every day, and drink no less than 1500 ml of water directly. Don't wait until you are thirsty to think about drinking water.
