What are the tips for wearing contact lenses?

In life, there are still many people who wear contact lenses, but there are also many people who wear framed glasses. Framed glasses will bring a lot of inconvenience in daily life. Therefore, contact lenses have become everyone's first choice. However, most people are not particularly clear about how to wear contact lenses, especially those who wear contact lenses for the first time. In fact, wearing contact lenses requires methods and techniques. Mastering these methods can help you wear them quickly.

The correct way to wear contact lenses: If contact lenses are not cleaned and maintained properly, dirt will accumulate on the lenses, which will not only reduce the service life of the lenses but also cause irreparable eye damage. Therefore, we should follow the principles of correct use of contact lenses to prevent eye diseases.

1. How to wear contact lenses 1. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger, look at the mirror in front of you, use the middle fingers of both hands to pull apart the upper and lower eyelids to fully expose the cornea (black pupil), attach the lens to the cornea, and then remove the index finger. 2. Move your eyeballs up and down and left and right to flush out the air in the lens with tears. After the lens is completely attached to the cornea, use the middle fingers of both hands to slowly relax the upper and lower eyelids. Preparation before wearing: 1. Rinse your hands with neutral soap and do not leave anything on your hands to avoid contaminating the lenses. 2. The nails of your index finger and thumb must be trimmed and smoothed in advance to avoid damaging your eyes and lenses. 3. Identify and distinguish the left and right eye lenses; the two cannot be worn interchangeably. 4. Rinse the lens with a full-function care solution and check whether the lens is damaged. 5. Correctly distinguish the front and back of the lens: (1) Observation method: The front side is bowl-shaped and the back side is disk-shaped. If the lens is worn upside down, there will be a foreign body sensation and the lens will slide unsteadily in the eye, which will also affect visual clarity. (2) Clamping method: Use your thumb and index finger to gently press the middle of the lens flat. If it is the front side, the lens should curl inwards. If it is flipped outwards, it is the reverse side.

How to remove contact lenses 1. Wash your hands thoroughly and make sure they are dry. 2. Use the middle fingers of both hands to lightly press between the upper and lower eyelashes. 3. Look forward with big eyes. 4. Spread your thumb and index finger in an inverted eight shape with a width of about 1 cm between the fingertips. 5. Press lightly on the lower edge of the eyeball (close to the 4 or 8 o'clock direction) 6. Keep the thumb and index fingertips in an inverted eight-shaped shape and press lightly, then use any of the following methods (1) Slide the fingertips down to the white of the eye (2) Press the fingertips without moving, and look up (the lens will naturally move to the white of the eye. Remember: do not pull the lens out from the center of the eyeball to protect the cornea) 7. Use the thumb and index fingertips to pinch the lens off (Remember: do not pinch it off with your fingernails, always use the fingertips. Do not wear contact lenses for more than 8 hours a day, especially do not wear contact lenses overnight. Wear contact lenses and frame glasses alternately. Be sure to disinfect and wash your hands before wearing contact lenses (removing contact lenses), and clean the contact lenses with care solution. Citizens who love beauty contact lenses should also pay attention. Beauty contact lenses are more "lethal". The pigment on the surface of beauty contact lenses will adhere to the cornea and have a negative impact on eye vision. When the eyes are tired, pay attention to rest so that the eye muscles can be fully relaxed.
