Alcoholic liver disease symptoms

Alcoholic liver disease symptoms

Many male friends drink without restraint in their daily lives, which can easily lead to alcoholic liver disease. If alcoholic liver disease is not treated in time, it will gradually develop into cirrhosis and ascites. If this is the case, it will directly endanger people's lives. And because its symptoms are not obvious in the early stages, many patients are unable to detect it in time. Therefore, here we first ask you to understand the symptoms of alcoholic liver disease.

Alcoholic liver disease is one of the more common liver diseases, and its pathogenic mechanism is also very simple, which is the damage caused by alcohol. This also makes it easier to prevent. You only need to drink in moderation to achieve the effect of preventing alcoholic liver disease. For friends who drink frequently, I hope you can take a look at the symptoms of alcoholic liver disease.

1. Early symptoms of mild alcoholic liver disease:

1. Abdominal distension, fatigue, anorexia, discomfort in the liver area accompanied by jaundice, hepatomegaly, tenderness and other symptoms;

2. Dull complexion, fever, ascites, edema, and spider nevi;

3. Because the liver has the ability to break down alcohol, once the liver is damaged, the ability to break down alcohol decreases, making it easy to get drunk;

4. Clinical examination results will show an increase in white blood cells and a decrease in serum bilirubin. Decreased plasma total protein and increased globulin and ASL/ALT ratio can be used as diagnostic parameters for cirrhosis, but they have no practical reference value for distinguishing between the two types of cirrhosis. The pathological changes of alcoholic cirrhosis are often Laennec or micronodular types, and may also be macronodular or mixed types. Dense connective tissue involves the central portal area, where scarring is most severe and its collagen fibers contain aldehyde groups, which is different from other cirrhosis.

2. Early symptoms of severe alcoholic liver disease:

1. Including the above early symptoms of mild alcoholic liver disease;

2. Symptoms of numbness in the limbs and hand tremors will persist;

3. Men will experience decreased sexual function, testicular atrophy, and erectile dysfunction. Women may experience menstrual irregularities or even infertility;

4. Clinical examination results will show moderate elevation of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase, and the general ratio is close to 3 indicators at this time.

After knowing the symptoms of alcoholic liver disease, if you find that you have early symptoms similar to alcoholic liver disease, it is best to go to the hospital for a detailed liver examination. If you find that you really have alcoholic liver disease, timely treatment is the best way for you to get rid of the harm of alcoholic liver disease. Only reasonable treatment can avoid the possibility of its deterioration.
